What is THE reason breastfeeding is so hard these days?

Before I jump into what I have noticed is the number 1 killer of breastfeeding these days, please remember that I come from a place of wanting women to succeed. I genuinely care about my job. I take each client home with me and think about them before I go to bed. I evaluate my work - was I helpful enough, was I kind? But I am seeing this over and over and over again and it needs to be touched on.
